I’m finding odd that foden can’t get back into the side. I know he’s been out, but so have other players like walker.

Stones seems to be a squad player now, who id also start.

I trust pep, but I’d change the side personally.

It's a shame that neither Doku or Savinho are starting, but they can always come off the bench if needed.

Not too sure who's going to be creating the chances for Erling, but hopefully it will all work out.

Plenty of firepower and other bench if needed. Start of the Rodri replacement experiment

This is a strange line up, could almost say it's too cautious

Bernardo and Jack are great players but not great if they're the main creative outlet

Lewis-Kovacic-Gundo should give us good control but not a lot of impetuous

Bit nervous, but having Phil, Doku & Savinho on the bench are good options

Hmmm. Full trust in Pep but I simply cannot see how we create anything with that team. Lewis and gundo late shadow runs into the box perhaps?

We really don't. 4 injuries isn't close to being out of the norm, we just have an exceptionally small squad.

Those injuries are long term aswell :(

We need to stay in the race and spend spend spend in January!

Rags got games postponed with bomb scares and pitch invasions when they wanted time and got no punishment, maybe we need some dark arts until we have a more functional squad, if there is any hint of trouble in the Anfield fixture I’d pull the team quick smart, had enough of our players being targeted and intentionally injured

It's very fluid, don't think it's nailed that Lewis is in the middle, he'll dip and out of there with Bernardo.

Let’s hope the referee protects the players rather than endanger them like in Arsenal match. Why Carson on bench and not O’reilly?

Howe sets his teams up to be extra dirty v us,even Pep calked him out after last seasons cup game. Be nice if we can get the Dipper protection with cards being dished out in the 1st half for bad fouls against us for a change
