If you saw him play against Watford you'd understand, he looked a yard slow.

He gave the ball away in the last 15 minutes and didn't get back as well. Pep was fuming on the sideline.

Bratislava (a) and Fulham (h) are surely better games for that.

Newcastle (a) isn't for blooding players in. He might get 20mins later on if we need a spark.

Pep knows best but this line up leaves a lot to be desired on the surface . Can’t see Haaland getting any supply today and looks like it’s going to be an ugly game . Need to make sure we don’t concede first as I can see it being a frustrating afternoon. Foden, Savio, Doku on bench with KDB still out leaves us very short on creativity .

I would have preferred to see Savinho and/or Doku in the team. The team looks light on pace and directness but glad to see Rico in the side.
