Tough game, have to be honest I was surpised a few players went abroad for a few days so soon after Saturday. Bit early for that?
Anyway 3-1 for us, Haaland to bag 2.

Pep is very clever with when he gives days off. Our games are currently set at one in week. In 2 weeks, we'll be playing every 3/4 days and there will be no days off or possibility for the players to go home or get out of the country.

They were back in late yesterday afternoon so in reality they will have have had only 1 full day off on Monday.

Tough game but pretty sure we will win. Would have loved 3 out of 3 after trips to West Ham and Newcastle. Will make Utd and Liverpool a nice watch as well between two desperate teams.

I would say safe for Newcastle but the introduction of Stones v Bournemouth means he's probably not far off of a start, probably the charity game v Barca to get some minutes in his legs.

At the moment though Dias & Ake haven't put a foot wrong.

First 30 mins of Community Shield Ake was all over the place.

First 30 mins of Community Shield Ake was all over the place.

It’s a fucking friendly. Why the fuck do you focus on this rather than his excellent performance in the 180 mins in the 2 league games? MOTM for me on Saturday, great lad too. I also liked the respect he showed to the Bournemouth fans and players at the end of the game. Classy
