We are never going to be two ahead as the Barcodes will pick a strong eleven and the referee will have the home crowd to appease.

The League Cup QF is scheduled for the same day (+/-1) as our Club World Cup game on 19th December.

And at QF stage we're less likely to be playing opponents that we could hope to beat with a youth team (a repeat of Burton like in the SF would be good).

I'm guessing the club will be playing a youth team throughout, win or lose.

Be interesting what team Pep will pick? I think he mentioned about the kids getting plenty of game time with the amount of games we have. Won't be surprised if Philips Lewis Bob and Gomes start..
 
Didnt expect to go far in this comp and now with rodri missing I expect nothing from this game....Pep may use it to experiment to see how we cope without Rodri for the league games....and to give a few fringe players chance

If phillips doesnt start then its clear that he has very little future with us....he needs to be tried and though he hasnt looked great, rhythm os so important for players and that comes with game time. Maybe some of the kids get a game as well?

Gomez may play as well and reckon we might rest the likes of Walker as well

However knowing Pep he will go as strong as possible

Easily solved you just play the youth reserves. I’m sure we have more than 11 players in our squad.

He’s already said he won’t to the press and said “sorry guys it’s too much”
 
Looking forward to this one. Going into it with low expectations and just hope to see some minutes from Rico and Bobb.
