We really can't afford any injuries to our ready miniscule pool of available players, even our EDS looks light on any experience, I'd play a reserve team abd rest more than I have below if possible

I'd start Lewis, Gomez, Bobb and Phillips to give them minutes and experience.
Hopefully Grealish will be fit enough to start but i'd start Kovacic on the bench but give him some minutes with an eye on the Wolves game.

Unfortunately i don't think we'll win this.

didnt hear him say that but if he has thats good.....its the least of our priorities and playing at a lively st james park could be very good experience for the likes of Bobb and Rico Lewis along with the likes of Gomez...plus game time for phillips.

I thought that suspensions were competition specific, therefore he'll miss the next 3 premier league games. If that's the case then he will definitely play in this one.

I think bans for red cards in domestic games can be served in any combination of domestic games. European card bans can only be served in European games.
