I really hope Philips takes the opportunity to show that he can do a job for us. Pep obviously doesn't think he can play at the quality required to get in our first team. We all know Rodri is just so good. However, in the domestic cups maybe he can find his level, get some confidence and feel like he's contributing as a squad player.
