Tricky this as free had a bad game. Doku lively gvardial solid Rodri majestic. Dias walker and akanji really good. Ortega had a great game. Phil very good. And kova. Bernie two great goals. Think I’ll go for Rodri. He is just a rolls Royce of a player.

Bernie..."scored" both goals and was playing with quality all over the pitch.

There were good performances from everyone but Kovacic, Akanji, Foden were brilliant.

Every player played their part , Bernardo was the best of a really good team performance

Kovacic for me. I thought he kept us ticking over, a few really good moves forward too. A big shout out to Akanji and Gvardiol who I thought were very good in defense.

Actually I’ve was going to go with Doku. But he needed to bury one of those chances. Beg to differ on ortega kicking - yes it got a bit ragged as game tightened up and his long kicks nothing like Eddie. But woeful? Don’t see that.

3. Ortega - Cool, calm, perfect when needed

I’ve gone for Kovacic but mentions for Akanji, Rodri and Foden. Doku had a good first half, a bit erratic with his final ball and will have to continue learning. Haaland had a good second half too. Bernardo was his usual busy self.
