Newcastle United (H) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Routine win. Massive fortune with the goals but we looked good before them. Once we got them, we settled as usual. I don't like us doing that on anything less than a 3 goal lead usually because 1 goal for them and were panicking all of a sudden and the game is there to be buried but it proved to be more than enough today. controlled last hour seen us through with little problem. Back to wembley without getting out of third gear, can't grumble at that.

Could really do with getting Coventry in the semi-final, it's a few days after the madrid second leg and tiredness will likely be a big factor. Also means the spurs game will be postponed. Remains to be seen if that's helpful or not.

Totally agree, the pair of them with their shorts tucked into their armpits must have passed to each other over a 100 times and just controlled the whole game, leaving rodri on his own in the middle has been our kryptonite a few times this season
If the shirt tucking unlocks the whole season for us will every mid field be doing it next year?

Also, do we think they discussed the tucking because I don’t think Kova has done it with previous teams?

Genuine question to anyone who was at the game, What did you make of Bruno G. for Newcastle?

Anyone think he would make the cut at a team like us or another big club in Europe?

Personally I think he looks head and shoulders above anything at Newcastle.

I think you might be right, looking at pics of kova at Chelsea he never tucked in there.
No doubt spitty and neville will pick up on this on Monday night football, "errrrr yerrrrr can clearly see gareee they have tucked right in"
