Got up at 4:30 to watch on some dodgy stream, 2 English commentators, the main one was moaning about how quiet the City fans were compared to the 8k Geordies, the other one I think was an ex rag player banging on about "tomorrow's game being the biggest in English football, the history tradition" blah blah blah.........In the fucking middle of a City game, why was he even commentating and talking about the shite Stretford Rangers ?
Those 2 have won 1 PL title in 10 years ffs.
Fucking unbelievable what these telly twats get away with.

Genuine question to anyone who was at the game, What did you make of Bruno G. for Newcastle?

Anyone think he would make the cut at a team like us or another big club in Europe?

Personally I think he looks head and shoulders above anything at Newcastle.

Thought Akanji, Rodri, Kova, and Foden were all brilliant.

Bernie was generally good, Doku was far better than the moaning in the match thread would have you believe, Ortega continues to be the best backup keeper in the league (and arguably top five, full stop), and Bobb looked class when he came on.

Job done, a change of scenery for most of our players, then back in two weeks to smash the Arse.

Was disappointed that John Stones didn’t come on at first but then realised that in that torrential rain it was probably best as he could have slipped and hurt himself as he gives 110% every time. :-)
