Foden was absolutely outstanding last night.

Had Erling been wearing his shooting boots then we could have had at least 2 more goals. Glad to get this out of the way and pick up 3 points following the ridiculous scheduling of the game after the SC.

He has played in the middle before and been amazing for one game. What he needs now is to make it more consistent from the centre. Not every game will be 9/10 out of 10 but every game in the middle needs to be 7/8 out of 10 at the least

Nothing will makes him better than a run of games in the same position.

It’s ridiculous that a city the size of ours and as busy into the early hours has this utterly pathetic transport system. 23.17 the last Met to Mcr Airport, on a Saturday night. Wankers.

Added to that my tram back to Bury was a single unit, packed to the rafters with people squashed all the way down the isles. I don't understand why they can't run double units when they know there is an event on and the trams will be busy.

In some respects I was disappointed with the game last; delighted with the win of course but the barcodes were very poor. If the Viking had his shooting boots on we would have been out of sight. I like Eddie Howe and thought he was building a team to challenge but after last night I can't see it. We played them off the park and in the end their petulance showed with some awful fouls.

I think our goals conceded this season could be a new record low barring injury.
We are formidable in defence and defensive midfield.
Our goals for could well be lower than previous seasons unless we figure out how to play in Haaland without the genius of KdB.
We need someone to take defenders away so he can do his thing. At the moment he’s often double or triple marked .
Fix that and we’re winning the lot again.

haaland got played in 3 times last night and couldnt sort his feet out to be fair
