I’m sure he will be. His command of English is also superb - a very impressive young fella.I think he’s going to be a fan favourite with that attitude. :-)

Great post. That control in the second half we had is what we've so desperately been missing. How many times have we been in front and got involved in some kind of basket ball style game or just tired in last 10 minutes and gone to bits. It was so pleasing to watch it from the stands and see just how much control we had, Barcodes were chasing shadows. And re people having a pop at Kovacic, it's Bluemoon pal, it's what we do! :)First half was superb. Second half more controlled. Nico gave the structure for the whole team, which is why we looked more like ourselves. Savinho is going to be some player, Marmoush gives Erling some help as well as being a great player.
Ps reading through some comments we just thrashed an in form team and played the best game of the season, so why do people still have a pop at players in this thread? Granted Kovacic has not been what we needed but put it in the player thread and not in a thread that should be positive
It’s such a shame our new players didn’t have more time before the first Madrid game. Nevermind at least we now have the prospect of a strong finish to the season. What a difference a few days make! After a mixed bag against the Spanish rags, I was more than a bit nervous.
When I saw Rico, Gundo and Eddie in the starting lineup, I feared the worst. Instead this was our most complete performance all season, the first half especially so. Playing with pace attacking more directly against a bloody good side, we were superb. Nico looked like he was born for the 6, and had been playing for us for years. He was constantly talking directing players and as a result we were so assured. Gundo was terrific as an 8, and much more solid. The defence was utterly unruffled by the Geordies pace, Khusanov will be a legend. Stone's next to was brilliant, both Lewis and Josko fantastic.
Eddie became the assist king, his distribution is second to none and when we are full of attack, got legs in midfield, the defence and keeper look a million times better. Who knew?
Omar Marmoush looks stunning he is going to score some goals, got pace and bags of skill, he Erl and Savinho are going to have a lot of fun. Omar will grab the headlines but Savi was unplayable. Erl absolutely thriving on getting the armband, feels very promising. All the subs did well too, crowd were lively.
One small complaint, my stream was that far behind I'm expecting Graeme souness to get sacked any time now! Mission impossible in Madrid, you never know.....
Tis a bit irritating that just winning a few more games than we have done so far and we'd perhaps be putting some pressure on the ferals and the bridesmaids! Also can we play a decent version of Blue Moon, that fast paced one really is dire!
Anyway City till I die:-)
Stones was great, as always, it'll be injuries that keeps us being able to rely on himIf you add Bobb and Rodri to that list we are starting to look healthy again. What I was pleased about yesterday was the magnificence of Stones and that Lewis had a pretty good game.
Yeah Roy orbison was on var duties that dayAnd their goal was miles offside as shown on MoTD.
Just crying about Newcastle. What was he mad about?
and he said” i don’t believe you you’re not the truth, no one could look as good as you”Yeah Roy orbison was on var duties that day
This front 4 could shock at the Bernabeu

It was a really well worked corner, and something that we are not used to, that's for sure, so let's hope there are a few more in the offering.Watching again, great corner from Gundog for Mcatee…….
corner coach back from his holidays?
Back to normal shite corners this week?It was a really well worked corner, and something that we are not used to, that's for sure, so let's hope there are a few more in the offering.
Paul Ritchie?
And Haaland is spelt wrong.
They don't just spell it like that, his name is Håland. Erling has changed his name to Haaland for global brand purposes for obvious reasons. He is now also written like Erling Braut Haaland in Norway as well, which rubs some people the wrong wayPaul Ritchie was a remarkably forgettable player. I only remember him because he had an interview in the City magazine once and he revealed he used to grind his teeth so severely whilst asleep his family had to take him to a specialist.
I think they spell Haaland like that in Norweigan tbf. The single A has an accent I assume replaces the double A

Joey 'allo allo' BartonThat wasn't GNIAC on comms then ;-)
Wasn't joking, every day school day, cheersNot sure if you are joking, but he isn't.
Erling was always Håland as well until he went to Salzburg and made a conscious decision to change it to Haaland for global brand purposes

Newspaper snippet from his breakthrough in 2018 before he went to Austria and changed his name:

A and Å is pronounced differently phonetically and is obviously 2 different letters in the norwegian alphabet.Genuine question
Why is changing from A to AA for obvious reasons, ta
