Newcastle United takeover?

I find it inconceivable that anyone, no matter how rich, would buy a football club in the current climate of uncertainty. They will incur all the costs with little or no money coming in - all seems very odd

something not right here ?

and why a middle man or woman and not the clear investors Saudi (PIF) i don't really understand the reasons for a broker to settle the deal unless its down to the fit and proper test but if so then that is wrong ? look i would welcome anybody with open arms if money is being pumped into a club but the rules are now tight, but newcastle are a big club and could be a challenge to the top 6 if the right people are running it

the manager bruce will be gone in a flash and a big name manager in the hot seat with his new players. but it will be hard and FFP will be a big stumbling block and the the gates at newcastle will be have to be another 5 to 10 thousand bigger and new stands built

but it can be done in the long term ? and if the money is not spunked and given away to the so called superstars marquee signings like man city did at the start then FFP will be in like a flash under the new rules. FFP is the killer and it was put in place to stop investment and manchester city money. so anybody with the intent of buying a club must be only after a quick profit and sell on and make a £50 to £100 million and move on fast

the days of the investment dreams and waking a sleeping giant is gone and will never be back. even if the FFP rules are loosens nobody can build a club from nothing to becoming a major player in 3 to 5 years its just impossible because of the premier league and the top 6 clubs are setup for the long term

when sheikh mansour bought manchester city there was a gap in the market and united and arsenal was in its final days and running on its past glories they both had troubles ahead in terms of managers and players coming to a peak and need a big investment in the squads and big money spent

but when sheikh mansour bought man city both united and arsenal was wrong in thinking they would walk away with just being happy with a little bit of success and city would just waste the investment on superstars like they was doing ? but something big changed and city owners put plans to the council and had a vision and for the future and all the quick fix's was done and dusted no more superstars and a manager put in place for future plans and look at city now

pep was a man city manager after mancini the job was his at anytime. but he knew the timing was wrong and he become munich manager and left the spanish team city had built to go to work and scout players and build a team ready for pep

Saying on SSN that Staveley is "fronting" the deal. Will she be the public face of the owners, if they're successful? Could she end up as Chairman, or maybe even in a similar role to Txiki at City (CEO)? Apparently, she played a part ("masterminded") in Sheikh Mansour's takeover at City.

I reckon the fat greedy **** that is Ashley has shat his lobster thermadore into his boxers following covid. He has fucked up royally over his behaviour at the beginning of the lock down. Underclass Direct is becoming more toxic and might be in the shit. The fat **** is reported to bee flogging Newcastle for 40 million less than he wanted so desperate is he to get some money for it.

I am another who welcome them joining our quest to fuck the rags and victims up as much as humanly possible.

If this takeover goes through, I wonder if toon will get the full assassination treatment, from other clubs chairman, managers or the media, the same as what we’ve been subjected to.

You never know, they might switch from witch hunting us, to witch hunting the toon.
only when they look like competing with the red teams

Good news for north London printers, in time of crisis, as urgent orders are received for Arsenal headed notepaper.
