I read that as "PL gives rag owners chance to find saudi buyers before they outlaw them"............wouldnt surprise me given all the backstabbing and hypocrisy shown by all involved.

Just glad that we are partly responsible for it all with our clubs/owners success........... City ruining other clubs takeovers since 2008.
 
How on earth is it fair that they are not permitted to be taken over by a Middle East backer?

Certain history clubs don't want the competition and used their weight accordingly.

I hope all this shit comes out although I feel their lawyers with make sure any allegations are redacted from any public verdict

That's true but you can guarantee that had a Saudi consortium tried to pay MUFC or LFC they would have been waved through. What evidence do the PL have to block this takeover? Is it like the evidence they "don't" have to pursue their witchunt against City which dates back to a period before FFP was even implemented. Personally I think the TV rights issue is a smokescreen for the PL.

Premier league want a global product, the Rags and Dippers boast about their worldwide fan base and then they all get pissed off when people overseas think they would like a slice of the pie, obviously not Americans but if the owner is a shade too dark then it's a big no-no.

And to think they bang the drum about racism
 
Looking at the squad PSG has put together, it's probably for the best this got stopped. The Saudis make them look poor!
 
Perhaps Newcastle could instead get taken over by the Mexican Cartel as their crime families also have penchant for body parts and binbags. Fuck 'em.
