Hope their first signing is mo salad !!

I wonder how many City, Chelsea and PSG clubs football will accept before introducing some kind of wage cap.

On an individual level, I have no issues with Newcastle and it'll be interesting and fun to have a different team involved at the top end of football. On a broader level, I'm a bit wary about having another rich club splashing the cash driving up transfer fees and wages.

Delooney on the sportswashing line, he's a predictable **** I'll give him that

It’s another payday for Delooney. He can fill his boots. Already heard an idiot on BBC saying: “it’s all about sports washing.” Does anyone seriously believe the Saudis give a toss about spotswashing? How stupid are these pundits?

I'm sat on the fence on this one.

I welcome more Arab money into the premiership, I'm glad it pisses the yank owned clubs off, spoilt entitled knobs at the scum and bin dippers crying into their frosties. I welcome the challenge of another potentially elite team.

But, wish it wasn't Newcastle, their fans have been some of the most vocal anti City pricks you could meet, that fat bearded pervert always digging us out, they signed letters demanding we be punished even though we proved our innocence, why couldn't it be Sunderland or Boro, much more deserving than the shirtless cry babies.

I still think we'll get all the negative hysteria that we usually do but I somehow doubt the same will happen to Newcastle. I'm not seeing too many people questioning Newcastle's history like they did ours despite the fact they haven't won a trophy in nearly a century
No one questioned our history or our fans when the takeover happened. Everyone said we wouldn’t ever compete or attract big players. When we did they said we’d never compete with united or Liverpool. When we left them in our trail they started with you have no fans or history. It’s dregs of the barrell and Newcastle fans will have to go through the same.

That’ll be the same Miguel Delaney who, 3 years ago, penned this article https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/manchester-united-sale-saudi-arabia-interest-reports-latest-buy-club-mohammad-bin-salman-a8586866.html?amp about a potential Saudi takeover of his beloved Manchester United. Note that there is pretty much zero criticism of the Saudis on that occasion and although he mentions the murder of Jamal Khashoggi he effectively dismissed it as a non-event and the article is practically willing for the takeover to go ahead. Proof positive that his opinions on City and Newcastle are the ramblings of yet another bitter, jealous, self-entitled, hypocritical ****. Fuck him and fuck all those who sail in him.

We must have got it right in many more cases than we got it wrong, otherwise, we wouldn’t have reached the heights we did so quickly.

Yeah we did but we were able to capitalise on Tevez being a shithouse and wanting to wind Utd up, Valencia being in the shit for Silva which meant that Yaya was willing to join. Once those were here, everybody else was willing to follow. We also had players from Pre-takeover who were fantastic and leaders too.

It depends how quickly Newcastle can get their gateway signing. Otherwise they’ll be stuck with the ‘nearly’ players like we did in some instances. The Bridges and Adebayor’s (who I loved, admittedly) etc.

That sounds a little hypocritical, at the very least.

People associating history with trophies and success are the true glory hunters. Chelsea and City have been around for over 100 years. That's history. Both clubs have been apart of the fabric of English football for over 100 years and been successful through different periods and eras. Silly fans who think history only applies when you have over a certain number of titles is ironically the true definition of a glory hunter.
