Delooney on the sportswashing line, he's a predictable **** I'll give him that
No one questioned our history or our fans when the takeover happened. Everyone said we wouldn’t ever compete or attract big players. When we did they said we’d never compete with united or Liverpool. When we left them in our trail they started with you have no fans or history. It’s dregs of the barrell and Newcastle fans will have to go through the same.I still think we'll get all the negative hysteria that we usually do but I somehow doubt the same will happen to Newcastle. I'm not seeing too many people questioning Newcastle's history like they did ours despite the fact they haven't won a trophy in nearly a century

We must have got it right in many more cases than we got it wrong, otherwise, we wouldn’t have reached the heights we did so quickly.
That sounds a little hypocritical, at the very least.I wonder how many City, Chelsea and PSG clubs football will accept before introducing some kind of wage cap.
On an individual level, I have no issues with Newcastle and it'll be interesting and fun to have a different team involved at the top end of football. On a broader level, I'm a bit wary about having another rich club splashing the cash driving up transfer fees and wages.
