I live in Newcastle they are a funny breed. Some think they are getting someone Pep esque or Eddie Howe will do

If that’s the case, it was bloody stupid of Staveley to tweet such a thing.

That is something else that the new owners can take a leaf out of our book for; keep your mouths shut until everything is finalised.

To be fair, our first couple of weeks was a little mouthy, but yes, they could have learned from that.

You would think Evertonians would have noticed the dippers spending millions and not winning the PL for so many years, not to mention stretford rovers. Newcastle should not fall into the trap of believing the nonsense. It is even harder now to make money count, since everyone has got some.

once bitten twice shy by the so called elite ? they all thought manchester city new owners would get board and run a mile after a couple of years. then we won the premier league and everything changed over night

FFP is in place to stop manchester city being the top dogs in europe and win champions league every season.
the so called elite all got together and built and made changes to the rules on personal wealth investment in clubs.
but manchester city was very clever and built the club from a business side of things and revenue and income are now the best in europe and we don't need £billions being pumped into the club

newcastle can challange them and us in the future but it has to be done the right way with small steps
forget pumping big money into newcastle straight away they will smell something dodgy and be all over you in a flash

all this partying and dancing in the streets of newcastle singing we have more money than city was all in vain because
its useless in football with the setup we have today. its a ten year plan that will be needed at newcastle and like i said small steps each season and build the club and give it the right image

we seen it this week with the managers job ? people turning it down ? good managers are not daft and know newcastle are far from being a top club and even could go down this season
