I wonder what odds you'd get on them winning the title in the next five years? There will never be another 5,000/1 Leicester again unfortunately.

He did a fantastic job at Bournemouth. He had the lowest budget every season yet kept them up for five years and only went down the season they had the most injuries in the league (by a mile).

[Hart of the Matter]

Went to my first Newcastle home game since the take over on Sunday. Great crack in Strawberry before the match (they are convinced Gabby Jesus is heading their way). Atmosphere before, during and after kick off was amazing. It was like a library under Ashley. The whole ground was buzzing. Only made a handful of Etihad visits post lock downs and the atmosphere hasn't matched St James on Sunday. Most Newcastle fans don't mind City apart from away days where they say we are pretty scummy to away supporters compared to some other teams. They are begining to see the hypocrisy and shit we have endured and increasingly see the evil axis of Liverpool and United cartel.
Interesting times ahead.

Eddie Howe is the manager of the season.

He won't get the credit for it because of the anti-Saudi takeover sentiment, but since January 1 Newcastle have gotten as many points as us and Liverpool.


Absolutely insane. They said they were 100% down when he took the job. They said he was down when they didn't land all their targets and laughed at Wood and Dan Burn. They said they were down when Trippier got injured in January.


They'll almost certainly finish 9th.
