Are they going to trust Steve Bruce with the new transfer kitty?

He could be packing his trunk shortly and moving on to mediocrity somewhere else.
And lets see how the media react when it happens, remember when Hughes went for Machini

Jordan this morning scoffing that Sheikh Mansour is only worth £23bill, compared to the Saudis £320bill.

But straight before that he said City are a state owned, club, and Sheikh Mansour is the Abu Dhabi Prime Minister, and is part of the Royal Family.

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is a sovereign wealth fund owned by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (in the United Arab Emirates) founded for the purpose of investing funds on behalf of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It manages the Emirate's excess oil reserves, estimated to be $649 billion

When City and Chelsea were first taken over, they picked the best proven players from the other prem clubs. Kolo, adebeyor, bellamy, tevez, lescott, bridge, parker, duff, SWP.

This will be the way Newcastle will approach at first. Zaha, Traore, Keane, Lingard, Barkley. It'll be a few years before they're challenging for the big names. They may make a Robinho esque signing to make a statement but there won't be many.

I noticed the same thing earlier, on the graphic they quoted Sheikh Mansour's personal wealth. So suddenly we are not state owned anymore
