He lost his nut & started screeching about Pogba coming to City. He was accepting about Haaland, but the thought of Pogba coming made him lose his shit.

Kept going on about him not working hard enough, & it choked him to admit Pogba was a quality player, but couldn't bring himself to consider Pep could get him to work harder like he does for France.

They had eight days rest for this game - we played 120 minutes in Madrid on Wednesday yet our players were magnificent and never stopped running. De Bruyne, especially first half, was immense. Sheer briiliance and driving us forward relentlessly. A succession of missed chance in the first half allowed them to stay in the game and they did threaten us in the second half which could have made things nervous. Ederson made a great one on one save to keep them out.
Great to see us really going for it right to the end with Grealish to the fore and those late goals really iced the cake very nicely. On any other day ZIncy would get man of the match and he was exceptional but KDB was the man today.
Just a great day and a good atmosphere - well done to every member of the squad for bouncing back in such style.
