I went for Kovacic even though he wasn't our best individual performer I believe his contribution enabled Rodri to play further forward and helped our ball retention for the full game.

Rodri rodri and rodri. As brilliant as kdb was and yhe obvious match changer Rodri showed us 90 minutes of complete dominant masterclass in midfield. He's every bit ahead of the rest in his position as kdb is.
