Iv'e gone with Ake. He was superb again today. Showed time and again what an intelligent footballer he is, and he has a great attitude.

Picked up a BULLSHIT yellow, but aside from a brief few moments, he remained fully committed in the tackle.

Ake played at his polished best in defence, midfield and occasionally in attack, Foden was back to being explosive and creative, but I gave it to Grealish who held possession in every area of the pitch. He was kicked to shite, running the gauntlet for 90 minutes with no protection whatsoever from the officials - he was hurt a number of times but it didn’t slow him at all, his fighting spirit & fortitude were exceptional.
