Newcastle Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

A Newcastle fan claiming on Twitter that Aleks called the Albanian fans "gypsies" and "sons of Albanian whores", and that police have taken statements. Let's assumed these alleged claims are true, what could he get for that? A Terry-esque ban?

Very happy with the performance today. Shame Nasri had to go off because he was looking like the player we all want.

I thought Garcia looked alot better but its no surprise really as the more he plays the better he will get. Today was his second start ffs.

Kolo did well today also, we were put under alot of pressure but I thought him and Nastasic were fine.

Overall we had a real flow to our team today and that was great to see again. Kompany in for Kolo next week. No more changes! Keep this team for a few games.

The Fa have already said anyone using racists words will get a automatic 5 game ban but that towards fellow footballers

How can they possibly prove that? Hearsay, and I very much doubt he would say anything without provocation.

Then again, seems like any excuse to ban a City player at the mo is a good one.

Without proof they might as well claimed he burnt a cross

Yeah but it will be their word against is, because (assuming he didn't say it in English if he said it at all) very unlikely that anybody in the close vicinity would have understood a word
