Pitch was pretty decent tbf to them, and as soon as final whistle went groundsmen were tending to it instantly. I think the Welsh RFU put £1m into the pitch?
I was impressed with how it was so much better than when they played Boro but then again it always looks worse on tv!

Correct, the pitch clearly wasn't perfect, but it was relatively flat, it didn't cut up that much, and we mostly played our passing game on it very well, the ground staff had made it as flat as possible, and should get credit for the job they'd done. It could have been far worse, but clearly Newport want to play football on it.No, it indicates that the football team and two rugby teams play on the same pitch, and that the groundsman isn't fucking Merlin.
