next 5 league games

The Newcastles, West Broms and Wolves of the world are no easier than Blackburn and Sunderland and look what happened there!

I seem to recall last year reading threads about how we could win the title after we beat Arsenal......

This week there has been about 4 threads on the same thing as far as I can see.

Lets not get too carried away. The target to still be in with a shout of top 4 after 11 games has to be around 20 points. 9/10 points would be decent enough.

if I had to predict I think we will beat Newcastle, Blackpool and Wolves, draw at WBA and lose to Arsenal.

I think we will get 13 points with us getting a draw at WBA and beating the others.

We should be aiming for double figures with the home games the most essential for us to achieve our targets.

All winnable games for us on our day, I know WBA are a bogie team but so were Wigan.

The blue moon is rising

Agree with OP's predictions except Arsenal. They are skilled and slick but our defenders will clatter them, they are far too flakey to match us. Add 2more points.

Surely its +3 for the win?

The OP originally factored in 1 point for the draw. Hence 2 points

Hello, looks like we've caught us a live one.....whats that smell?

Newcastle - Win
Blackpool - Draw
Arsenal - Lose
Wolves - Draw
West Brom - Draw

That's 6 points by my reckoning. Set my standards low and anything better is a bonus. Too many years watching City to be full of optimism.

we are good enough to pick up maximum points.

but football being football, there is always a chance points will be dropped.

i go to the games now thinking we will win.15 points.

Right.....

Newcastle: WIN
Blackpool: WIN
Arsenic: WIN
Wolves: WIN
WBA: WIN

5 Games, 5 Wins, 15 Points..............................................
Joint top by the end of October with Chelski
