Alves is a good shout, I never thought of him. Huge amount of experience at the highest level and a good leader. He can get a bit of red mist though so not sure about how he'd deal with referees here, could find himself in bother.

I'd definitely say no to Ederson as captain though, IMO it should always be an outfield player to stay in communication with the ref and motivate the other players.
