The most 'captainy' captain is surely Dias - if he gets it he will have it for 10 years.
I think the players will probably vote Kev, so he gets the chance to lift some silverware after his unbelievable contribution over the last 8 years.
Either way, Reuben will be the captain on the pitch even if he doesn't have the armband. My gut feel is he could even eclipse Vinny as the greatest captain in the club's history by the time he finishes in 2033.

They're all grown-ups and the players will show leadership qualities regardless of who has the armband.

Dias is undoubtedly the best traditional leader, but he's shown that consistently, without the armband and his time will come. Now, it's time for Kev to have the armband, for 1 or 2 years. He leads and he deserves to lift some trophies. Ruben can take the job when Kev's done.

Doesn’t mean they’ll vote the same way each season. Events might have pushed Dias up the squad’s collective thoughts.

Would love to see Erling wear the armband one day. I voted Ruben Dias and I think he will be.
