Next James Bond?

nicked the premise of GI Joe and the ending from Titanic.
No idea what GI Joe is and vaguely know Titanic is about a boat that sinks so I’m little the wiser. Accepting though that there is nothing new under the sun and many films may share, borrow, appropriate or pay homage to familiar plot lines my view is that it’s more about how these things are done.

So apart from your suggestion that there are elements of unoriginality and plagiarism could you give us a more incisive review? Other people, including many of the film critics seem to take the view that it is done with a great deal of style and panache. What says you?

Not too young now depending on the storyline and direction, Lazenby was 29, Connery was 32.

Bit skinny if they want someone to get their shirt off like Craig though.
The character Bond is supposed to be 37 so getting someone in their early 30s is the ideal age as they’ll go through 37 after a few films.

Craig has always been too short, too blond, and too blue eyed to be Bond… but this current series is the best of Bond (only ones I’ve ever liked) so I’ve not minded too much that he looks nothing like Bond.

I would like someone who looks more like the proper character as the next Bond though

Man, that's a really good shout!

Might be worthy of a future punt for in 10 - 15 years time!

Yeah don’t think he is that well known seeing they don’t go for a really well known star, although he is excellent in snowfall and I’ve seen him in maybe one film..

Then next James Bond should be Michael Caine as at 88 years old, hopefully Bond will die an old man and the series can retire into the history books.
