That is why his popularity is growing. He is authentic and principled and the electorate are warming to him


Just look at the politicians we have power now and the difference is enormous. Vacuous Bullingdon boys with little principle.idiotic ill thought out policy and no compassion.

Everything comes full circle. There will be a backlash after this Tory party, because that is how the British electorate rolls. What direction that goes in remains to be seen.
 
I see Cameron wants to enoble 100 new Tory peers who donated to the Tory party at the last election. The Tories dont have a majority in the Lords.

Alan Clark, the eminent Conservative historian and former favorite of Thatcher called it right in his book on The Conservative Party he wrote

"Amongst the Conservative party the tacit article of faith is that the nation is best served by contriving the perpetuity of a Tory administration whatever apparent sacrifices of principle and policy this may entail"

The sheer arrogance of such thinking in a democracy is utterly astonishing.

A lot of people may not like Galloway, but he is one hell of an orator, and if he gets near the Shadow Cabinet (if he gets a seat) you can be sure he'll destroy the minister he's up against. I'd fear for anyone he goes up against if he ever, ever got near PMQs!
 
If a socialist government is such a great idea why are thousands of migrants/asylum seekers trying to get into the capitalist UK from the kind and caring socialist government in France? Any answers on a postcard to the usual address.

According to the French it is because we don't have identity cards, plus we bathe more than the French which is a bonus for our fleeing economic migrants
