truth is there are many working class people who used to vote labour who would vote labour again if the labour party once again truly represented their interests instead of just being mock tories who are more interested in their own political careers than the public they purport to want to represent

I agree, I think the Tories, far from gleeful. don't like what's happening here, they've controlled the agenda for far too long. Whatever happens, they'll face an opposition which really opposes. The centre ground, relentlessly pushed to the right these last 30 years will be halted and options will be on the table for the first time in a generation. I want Labour led by Corbyn to succeed, but even if it doesn't, it will at least offer a real alternative to the post Thatcher neo liberal consensus, adopted by both Tories and Blairites in equal measure
