All I can hear is "comrades" and unions being thanked. Labour demonstrating they are still stuck in the 70s and aren't suited to this modern innovative society.

Gerry Adams has tweeted sending his congratulations to Corbyn, we are just waiting for Hezbollah to send their congratulations.

strange how you can say categorically you're going to house the homeless, stop the use of food banks, give people good welfare, bring in a load of refugees and help people who have wage packet freezes, all whilst admitting you need to develop an economic plan.

So that's a lot of nice promises with no economic plan to implement them. Sounds like what many were suggesting.

Well Labour had become unelectable with the watered down centre policies it was peddling, he could die on his feet but at least people have a 'big' proper party to vote for now who could gain power rather than UKIP, Greens etc.

Good luck to him.

"I've known her for a long time", he said of Harriet Harman.

Yes that's right, you knew her when she was doing legal work for the Paedophile Information Exchange and when you were an Islington councillor, while every single children's home in your borough had been infiltrated by the Paedophile Information Exchange, and while your multimillionaire tax dodging close friend Margaret Hodge was council leader.

Great new start for the Labour Party.
Yey! Just love the bitterness and bile you pump out. Socialism and Trade Unionism is back on the mainstream political agenda, and its eating into you.HAHA! Well done Jezza.

I think that's the key point. It's no longer a choice between Tories and Tories-lite. It's a genuine choice between left and right.

Whether the electorate want a leftist Labour party remains to be seen but they will probably be facing Osborne in 5 years time and he could well be the Tories Gordon Brown, plus I suspect that Labour will win a lot of Scottish seats back.

50% members 80% registered, 49% union members so a clear mandate in all section, any member of the PLP who start having hissy fits like this mard twat Jamie Reed show contempt for the membership
