If you looked at our opening 3 games on the morning of the WHU game, you could be forgiven for thinking that two of them were potential banana skins. As it turns out, the Hammers have been seriously underwhelming so far. But we weren't to know that before we played them. And Newcastle have improved under Howe. We won't be the only ones to have their work cut out to get something on Tyneside this season.Is the pressure really on when we are second behind Arsenal who have had a fairly easy start?

Not for me, considering we often drop points at the start of the season and still having daylight ahead of Liverpool (who we'll be challenging for the title). Forget arsenal

Bit dramatic saying the pressures on. We are unbeaten and got an away draw at a difficult place to go.

We will beat Crystal Palace. They don't have a single player who would get into our match day squad. If we play half as well as we can, we will win at a canter. 3-0.
We will beat Forest. All the newly promoted sides play out of their skin, but they will get taught a lesson from us. If we play half as well as we can, we will win at a canter. 5-0.
Spurs are different, they've got a few who'd get into our squad at least and their manager is clever. I'd take a draw now but we have the players to win it.
I honestly think the key to these games is whether we can get service into Haaland. The guy looks world class when he has the ball. I'd love us to set the whole team up to supply him against Spurs. Literally, whenever you get the ball get it into him FAST and let him do the rest. 2-1.

I understand to some degree, the pace City and Liverpool have set over the past five years or so has made it feel like any dropped points feel massive. But we have been the pace setter on that, not Liverpool.We were worse off this time last season and got 93 points.

But yes, there's a lot of football left to play and I can't see Arsenal or Spurs getting above 90 (and frankly if they do then fair play to them), and Chelsea already look off the pace.
I also think it's important to remember it's a new season, and if we are there or there abouts come the Christmas (or World Cup this year) then we're ok.
