People saying Brendan Rodgers - I’m calling you all out, you’re fans of rival clubs on here trying to take the piss, surely.

Rodgers is a bit of an enigma. He worked wonders at Liverpool and would of run us a lot closer only for Gerrards slip. Doesn't seem to get any consistency at Leicester. Perhaps he works better with top class players. Don't think City will take a chance on him.
It genuinely pains me to think of him taking over after Pep, even more so when some City fans think it'd be a good appointment.People saying Brendan Rodgers - I’m calling you all out, you’re fans of rival clubs on here trying to take the piss, surely.
Checking facilities in Cheshire ;) heard that one many times.Apparently he was checking out facilities in Cheshire at the weekend so maybe he is going to the Rags or maybe Pep is actually going at the end of the season and his contract extension was a smokescreen, but hopefully Pep will sign another extension.
It would be a throw back to the Phil Neal appointment!

I'm always sceptical of these narratives about managers being serial bottlers, I remember the same things being said about Ferguson and Klopp when they missed a few things they could win.The Gerard slip was just part of them bottling it, like throwing away a three goal lead at Palace, like throwing away CL qualification 2 years running at Leicester. Even more of a nearly man than Pochettino. Peps a serial winner, Brenda is a serial bottler
Enrique or Hag for me.Luis Enrique the natural successor for me. Wouldn't surprise me one bit, and the timings work out with Pep's contract expiring 6 months after the World Cup.
Plays a similar, if not slightly faster style of football to Pep. The Catalan connections can all remain in place over in the boardroom. The players will have a fairly straightforward transition.
Ten Haag might be a good option, but may come with a year of adjustment and transition. Enrique for me would be seamless, I'd expect us to crack on winning silverware from Season #1.
I hope the club stays well the fuck clear of Brenda.
Agree he’s done well at Leicester, I think the Celtic fans are an example of lovers spurned, but I still think as a leader he’s a bottler, otherwise he’d have got liverpool the title in 14 and Leicester in CL in at least one of the last 2 years. Opinions thoughI'm always sceptical of these narratives about managers being serial bottlers, I remember the same things being said about Ferguson and Klopp when they missed a few things they could win.
Some people now day the same thing about Pep and the champions league.
The fact is margins are very tight and most managers even the very good ones miss more than they win and they cannot control every error on the pitch.
Rodgers produced a good team at Swansea who neither bottled promotion or were threatened with relegation.
His team at Liverpool were very good with Suarez and just missed out. He won plenty at Celtic and they weren't bad in Europe.
Leicester won a very good FA cup and have over achieved in the premier league.
He is undoubtedly a good coach and I seriously doubt he is a bottler.
All that said I don't want him as our manager, I find him unbelievably narcissistic. His favourite picture is a mirror, and all the Celtic fans I know thought he was a liar when he was at the club and can't stand him since he left.
A bit of both, I guess.Do you guys fear the day Pep leaves? Or is it a case of the structure at the club is so strong now that you have confidence in the right man being chosen to continue to the success?
Both. We'll never quite reach these standards again I don't think, but we've probably had an approximate succession plan in place for a while now already.Do you guys fear the day Pep leaves?
