Next Manager after Pep

If Rodgers hadn't talked such utter and constant shite as a younger man he'd be regarded as one of the best in the world.

I'd take him.

Weirdly it feels like there's a bit of chasm between great managers on their way out and young ones who've not quite got it together yet. Maybe Tuchel and Nagelsmann were the exception but they're probably the two most secure on the planet now. Zidane could be an interesting option?

In other news Pep has just said “what I actually said about leaving was, after my period at Manchester City I will take a break. But this could be in two months if they sack me, in two years or five years if I sign for longer. I have no desires to leave Manchester City at the moment”

No way Brendan. I dont think he has proved himself yet. Easyish to do well when you manage one ofn the only two teams who win anything in scotland. He didnt achieve enough with lfc with an awful lot of resources, even bought Balotelli, but also some other drift wood that Klopp was still getting rid of. I just dont think he's as good as reported.

Anyway, 2 years from now the scene would be very different. Tuchel might have been found out, Poch might be the one winning everything, Nuno might prove himself at spurs, anything!

Whoever it is, I am looking fw to it.
