It’s a question worth asking. We’ve reached the pinnacle in terms of managers. After this is quite daunting. We aren’t in the position of the giants where ex player comes from within. The next managerial appointment is a complete mystery, and I’d say largely based on European success because if this current crop don’t do it under Pep, will another highly regarded manager fancy it?

When pep leaves(doesn’t bear thinking about) he will probably go back to being a bit crap. He should really follow pep around it’s good for his reputation. I see him as the Ernie Wise to Eric Morecombe or Andrew ridgeley to George Michael

Undoubtedly we now attract the best, which at the start I doubted we’d do. A long time ago though. Personally I don’t care much for the CL, but it’s not me who needs impressing. To reach star status and to say this whole thing has been worth while, the CL is the holy grail. If we win that we attract whoever we want. Pep has been brought in to win it in my opinion and if he doesn’t, I’d say even he would know he’s ‘failed’.
