i'm driving to Manchester at the weekend, i'll worry about local travel when i get there. then a train from heaton chapel to piccadilly or failing that the 192 bus and cab/walk. depends.

I'm lucky enough to be on my winter week and rest days to cover the 4 games coming up.
Staying in Manchester for the two midweek games then Blackpool for the other 2.
The price of hotels in Manchester and the running of trains north of the border means that Blackpool is getting used more than ever this season

So Avanti have just come up with their options for Saturday. Last train back to London 1547. Not surprising on a strike day I suppose. Maybe the Fulham fans minibus would have room for me
