Next Rail Strikes Announced.

Which is quite pathetic really. Would of thought they be on stand by
What will all the drivers etc be doing now they aren’t striking but not train driving? Like everyone has said, you’d expect that they’d be on standby. No strike but no trains? Day off then?
 
Don’t these already we’ll paid twats, realise that if they continue forcing their ever dwindling customers to find alternatives ways of travelling, there will come a time when they are no longer needed

I thought it was the support and auxiliary staff who are the ones looking to keep their pension and pay agreements?

That's the bit I don't get. Strike off, back to work. Do they need three days notice or something to pick up their rostered duties?
 
Does anyone know if trains are back on today? Trainline shows no trains from Preston, but if the strike is off, surely trains should be running.

Sadly not, even though the strikes were called off yesterday, they said it was "too late" to resume normal services today. Free day off for the rail workers!
