Next Rail Strikes Announced.

Figures. It explains why you‘d think that way.

How dare a bloke be the figurehead of railway workers wanting better pay and conditions and getting enough to appease his members. He was lucky that a GE is on the horizon and the government finally had to take their fingers out of their ears.

Have you forgotten that the trains were shit before the strikes?
Have you forgotten that his strikes are over?

They don’t deserve it. Staff are often rude, unhelpful… Trains are regularly late and cancelled. The service is awful yet they demand more?

The only person who will fund higher wages are the passengers and fares are already too high.

Crack jokes all you want. It proves that your views are one.

You are Darren Grimes and I claim my £5.

Northern rail in particular were excellent before this round of industrial action and now they are shit with a big S. Anyone who supports just fucking passengers about whilst not on strike is a dick.

Mick Lynch? I’ve never seen a man with a more punchable face.
May I draw your attention to Michael Gove, Rishi Sunak, Farage, Rees-Mogg and the vast majority of Tory MPs (particularly cabinet ministers) over the past ten years. - And most rags expecially Eamonn Holmes and Terry Christian.

RMT, the union that represents all railway workers except drivers, accepted a deal earlier this month and has agreed not to strike again until at least April,

Aslef, the drivers' union, has just received a very positive ballot result for continued industrial action, which takes us through until May, but no dates have been released as yet.

Fourteen days notice has to be given for any intended action, so we are clear up to 10th January. After that, we wait and see.

Maybe the govt relents and allows the train companies to talk to Aslef.

(Sorry, I don't know where that came from! And I don't even drink!)

And the bleeding tax payer. It’s harder to drive a bus than a train for about 1/2 the money.
You don’t even need to steer the bleeding thing. Running the trains on my model railway requires more concentration.
The only reason they already get vastly inflated wages is because they can hold the Country to ransom.
In the real world if the jobs no longer needed you are moved on , not with this lot.

Divide and conquer. The govt is winning.
