First of all, we need a clear out to free up some wages:
Sell: SantaCruz, Adebayor, Bridge, Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko, Kolorov, Michael Johnson
Possibly sell: DeJong, Johnson
This would free up approximately £1m / week in wages - not to mention the fees (estimated modestly at approximately £60 - £80m)
Now for the interesting bit... the buying. I'd love:
Martinez, Ronaldo, Van Persie, Bale. Wages for these covered by losing deadwood above (400K/week for Ronaldo, rest will require below £200k/week)
I reckon transfer fees - you'd be talking just under £200m. £80m(CR), £30m(GB), £30m(JM) 30m(RvP). You might argue that another centre half would also be required but Javi Martinez and indeed Richards and Yaya could provide cover in said positions. Zaba / Rekik could be the cover for full back for Clichy.
That means, for an outlay of approximately £100 (not too much as we will qualify for Champs league again) we could have a team of:

Hart

Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy

Yaya Martinez

Ronaldo Silva Bale

Van Persie or Aguero

Against the lower sides you'd 'rest' a defensive mid and play both Serigo and Van Persie.
Squad options:
Milner, Barry, Zabaleta, Rekik, Nasri, Guidetti, Pantilimon, Johnson?, DeJong?, kolo, savic
That starting XI would win the league; pace, power, creativity, goals, steel, experience, youth.
Come on Sheik Mansour....make this happen!!

Meanwhile back in reality.......

I am sorry but Ronaldo just isn't going to happen, neither is Bale or RvP. Keep coming back to it but the marker set by Spuds for Bale will be minimum of 50m going Carroll and Torres price. RvP won't be 30m either!

As for Ronaldo, why on earth would someone wan to sell someone who cost them 80m for 80m after he has done what he has.

FFP is serious until deemed otherwise so spending 100m net according to your figures isn't good. Considering we have made hardly any money this year after going out in every competition early.

I think van Persie will come to be honest. I also think we'll get hazard but I really do believe Jose will be in charge!

Yeah. Ronaldo won't leave Real, same with RvP and The World's Greatest would be interested only in Barca or Real. However. Javi Martinez would be perfect for us (35 mil.) and 2 wingers (Di Maria - 35; Hoilett - free) if Tevez, Balo and Johnson will leave and with Guidetti back. Plus we would need another striker in that situation and Lavezzi (30 mil.) would be my choice. situationAnother DM and CB are possible too with Kolo, Savic and De Jong (probably) leaving. Probably some experienced ones in late 20s, early 30s. Albiol from Real and Keita from Barca would be great and cheap too.

Sell - Nielson, taylor, toure, kolarov, de jong, johnson, hargreaves, santa, dzeko, ade, ballotelli and tevez if he doesnt want to be here.

Also players like savic to go out on loan and EDS players like weiss, assulin, boyata, wabara etc need to decide there futures adn whoever is the manager must see if they have futre if not then sell.

All this should bring in around 100 mill in transfer fees.

Players coming in -

Defender - someone like vertonghen or hummels
Centre mid - Maybe modric or martinez
Winger - hazzard looks to be the favourite
Striker - Lavezzi ( could also play on the wing) and either higuin or cavani

Wingers are the most important as they would allow the likes of milner, silva and nasri to play more centrally and would help out the full backs much more.

This season to much disruption...Next season its down to business. Its all about continuity and learning not knee jerk.

I'd sell Johnson, Hargreaves and Santa Cruz, probably Tevez and Balotelli.
Love to get Hoilett or a fast winger, a young good striker to replace Tevez or Mario and a good CB.

I would GET RID

Adam Johnson - Sunderland and Liverpool rumoured. Realistically 10mil.

De Jong - I think we'll be going for a central midfielder and see De Jong as more likely to go than Milner/Barry with only 1 year left and also the other 2 being English. Not sure where he'd go, maybe Juve (although they've got better DM/CM I would think), maybe back to a CL club in Germany, mayber Inter who could surely a purely defensive mid at the moment. Realistically 10 mil.

Hargreaves - was only given a 1 year contract?

Santa Cruz - accept any money really or try get a non-subsidised loan.

Weiss - I think he's decent enough to be a bit part player for us, however, I think in terms on wingers we'd be looking to have better. Would have few suitors in Spain or Russia I reckon.

Kolo Toure - only if a decent offer comes from PSG as otherwise I can't really us getting much better (factoring in the Yaya affect) for the money he'd bring in. I guess it depends who is available and happy to be a backup CB as I'm quite content with the VK/JL partnership (also depends on how Boyata is assessed through pre-season and is Savic makes some strides).

Adebeyor - highest bidder on a permanent deal that he'd be prepared to go to. I really can't see him cutting his wages for Spurs or Spurs lifting their wage ceiling for him. Hopefully he'll move to a PSG/Malaga.

Tevez - I don't care whether Mancini handled the Bayern situation well or not, even if he didn't think Mancini was going to be reasonable there is no excuse for leaving as he did. Sell to the highest bidder >20mil. Hopefully he's realised that we're not going to give in if he only names 1 club he'll go to and so gives us a few more choices.

Guidetti - only on loan. Premier League club or overseas but playing champions League. I'd really like to see him at Swansea who have shown they can get the best out of loan signings and play good football, or Newcastle if they make Europa and need to rotate Ba and Cisse a bit more (+ gets a fair chunk of Jan/Feb being the main man if Senegal go to ACON again).

Youngsters- on loan, Rekik, Suarez, Savic, Razak. The highest level we can send them too where they're going to get game time. I'd rather see a Feyernoord Guidetti type loan than prioritise sending them to a Premier League club and have a Boyata situation.

KEEP
Dzeko - just get some wingers

Balotelli -I love him, I'd rather see him going over the top than moping around not giving a shit when we go down with only 5 minutes left and the title on the line. I really just think its the last 2 games that the pressure has got to him with the free-kick fiasco and being over the top against Arsenal because he wants to win so badly, but come on he's 21. His previous send off this season was bullshit.

I think he needs to be played less and have not so much responsibility on him. He plays better when he doesn't have a guaranteed starting spot that he has pretty much had the last month (when he didn't get to start against Sporting he was very good for the 15-20 minutes he got).

Pizzaro - if he's cheap enough and happy to be a bit parts player. He's good enough to give Yaya a rest at home against lower teams (if Yaya doesn't really have that 'has to start if fit' clause in his contract?)

Kolarov - unless he wants to go and we get offered around the 12mil mark for him. I think he's got a lot to offer against weaker teams sitting back but he may feel he wants to go back to Italy and be more suited to a club that uses 3 CDs and wingbacks instead of a back 4.

BUY/GET

Hazard - can Silva/Nasri a chop out. Can play wide or off the striker and means you don't need 4 top strikers if you're happy playing matches with just one and have goal scoring threats like Yaya/Hazard/Nasri/Hoilett off them (Real pretty much has gone 2 seasons with only 2 and Higuain has been injured a fair bit, yeah I guess we don't have Ronaldo though).

Martinez - I know he probably is 'BlueMoon Overrated' but I still feel he's one of the best out there in terms of ability to play DF/CM/CD. Means you might be able to sell Kolo and not buy a new CD also and just get Martinez or Micah to cover in case of injury (Barca has gone 2 seasons with only 2 specialist CDs and Mascherano filling in when needed)

Sahin (loan) - Real apparently open to a loan deal and think he'd be a great get even if just for 1 season (if Real don't want him back we'll have had a good look at him and he'll know whether he likes it here or not). Allows Milner to be used primarily as an attacking mid cover to give Silva more rest so he's not fatigued as fuck like he is now towards the end of the season. Yeah under my plan he'd be competing with Yaya/ Martinez/ Barry/ Pizzaro but occasionally we'll play with 3 of those in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1, but as said Martinez might be covering at CD and if hoping to be good enough for Real then he should back himself to win that spot.

Hoilett - training compensation. Can't really go wrong here. Yeah there's going to be competition for spots but I reckon we're a chance with 'pay bump from Rovers, if you succeed as you think you should there'll obviously be bigger pay rises to come, here's a reasonable buy out fee which kicks in if you don't get x number of games and want to move on'.

Krasic (loan, option to buy / obligation to buy if x games played/started) - He can't be too happy at Juve with the amount of starts he's getting. Offers the winger option with Hoilett/Hazard and if he's not working out he doesn't play and its only a loan paying his wages not a 15mil purchase on someone we use as a plan B. If he works out then great. Between De Jong/Tevez/Adebeyor (maybe Guidetti loan) there is a chance we'll be dealing with Juve anyway even if we keep Balo and Dzeko.

Clyne - training compensation, similar to Hoilett I guess. Should be able to play Cup games, and come on for Micah if we're definitely going to win. Micah is a player I'd like to see subbed off as soon as we look like a sure thing to win.

Digne - only if Kolarov goes

Leili and other youngsters - get as many gun 16-18 year olds in as we can provided we feel we can integrate them well enough with the lads we already have.

I'd sign Ronaldo & Bale.

I'd sell/release Balotelli,De Jong(because he won't sign a contract) Johnson,RSC,Hargreaves plus other deadwood.

I'd keep Adebayor because if Mourinho does take over he'll give him another chance. I'd also keep Tevez if he's willing to stay and we'd have Adebayor,Dzeko,Tevez and Aguero 4 top strikers.

Hart

Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy

Ronaldo Silva Yaya Bale

Aguero Adebayor

Pantilimon,Toure,Zaba,Barry,Nasri,Tevez,Dzeko

We need a top class central defender!! Look at how we got caught out with lescott and kompany!! Savic needs a loan somewhere to play games. Maybe keep kolo and bring boyata back for extra numbers?
