I'm over 50 and just echoing what many others have said: Pi**n' around with our traditional colours leaves a bad taste in my mouth and is just fodder for fans of other clubs to taunt us.

Home: Sky blue, white trim; white shorts: Sky blue socks with maroon and white turn overs.

Away: Red and black stripes; black shorts; black socks with red and black/white turnovers.

3rd choice: Either the classic purple from the 50's or the diagonally striped ones from the Allison era.

All of them are sheer class. End of. Umbro nailed it a few years ago.

Seeing us in some of these daft kits, particularly that fu**in' yellow thing makes my blood boil.

Cannot, for the life of me, understand how the top brass can't see this. Hope our chairman has people browsing this thread.

Sounds great to me, can you get a job at Nike?

My local team Morton had a new kit that was very unpopular with majority of fans. The supporters made such an outcry the owners
withdrew it and put up 5 alternatives that were voted for by our fans. The result was something that most of us were happy with and
kept to the tradition of blue hoops. If any one is interested go to greenockmorton.org the unofficial fans site

The only thing that save this for me now is an Ayr United type kit launch - I may show a passing interest then.

Hopefully Chris Bailey will have mentioned the kit situation in part 2 or 3 of the Chairmans interview but I bet he wasn't allowed to.

I own a 14-15 Aguero... i plan to just keep wearing that kit until 1) they officially release the new kits and 2) i see what they look like in person.

IMO from pictures the crappy USMNT has those black kits with red and blue sleeves. They looked terrible on the computer, but in person they are kinda cool.
-the material is very different, which is why they seem to "hang" differently. Like they are designed to be snug.

for kits overall... remember that stuff we think is gastly, might be adored by the teenages (who always have to have the latest thing, and will buy wacko looking kits, just to stand out)

It is, what it is.

Trophies>Beating United>Kits
