Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

I don't think West Ham's badge is great but look at the high quality production of it on their away kit from Umbro.

The difference is those blues go together.

I don't know how Nike get away with this shit to be honest even national teams are putting up with it, they have just basically come up with a template kit in different colours and fobbed them off to teams that main colour fits closest, when I watch a tournament I want to see France in blue white and red. It's part of the whole experience you know the team by the kit.

Fucking yank shitheads

They get away with it because that's what the contract will allow.

The fault lies with whoever agrees to the terms in the first place

I'm sure the club is monitoring fans forums like this. The new shirt has nothing to do with city and we really need to take ownership of the shirt back.

The shirts are rucking up across the chest on the England and France ones,it looks cheap
Of course it's cheap, it's just Nike's football gear which is bargain bin quality.

Nike make some absolute high quality garments; 'Nike Sportswear' and especially 'Nike Lab' but their football dept. is not in that bracket, it's way below.

A lighter shade of this?

Somebody else already said - but those blues go together better – problem with ours is that the sleeves are navy blue with thin sky blue stripes which give it the appearance of air force blue, which looks greyish.

Also, watching France tonight, you know what would make that kit look good?

...WHITE SHORTS!!!

Well we are not actually stakeholders in the club. Stripes would probably piss me off as we dont wear stripes. As a football team you either do or you dont
We are not heading towards that you have no facts to back up that we are heading down a road to stripes
Im also in the age group of literally every part of the club being chopped and changed since I can remember, the colour, the crest all in one go, fucking Lasar blue followed up by reekboks weird fucking stripes and le coq sportifs god knows what attempts. Umbro did well then decided we needed a black trim, Nike have been pretty consistant but the new one is horrible but hardly going to make us wear a coventry kit

Why not? We already had one season before last! Look at Southampton, from their inception it's always been stripes, with a few exception – but a few years ago, for two seasons running they had all red strips - no stripes and no black in their kit for the first time since 1950 (when they changed from navy blue to black). West Brom have had stripes (exept for once wearing blue shirts). A couple of season's back they had a white shirt... I would not put it past Nike, the company who gave Barca 'hoops' instead of stripes last season!

they get away with it because they sell.

we all know a lot of City fans who dont like the kits, dont like Nike will still buy them, cos its City. Nothing will change if those people dont stand by their convictions.
