I don't think it looks awkward at all mate. It looks perfect to me! :-)

Hmm top pic awkward for me. Reminds me of the Subbuteo I had back in the day - I was still quite young at the time of those bottom pics. Our colours identity definitely seems to have shifted more to sky blue/white this century (despite the alternating shirt trim in recent years).

I don't know maybe Im talking bollocks :p

At least we're not discussing laser blue anyway. If done right, I wouldn't mind a kit like the bottom two if done right - one of the rumoured shirt pics for next season would be perfect, the darker collar along with the white V. Would be a nice nod back to the kits around the 90s whilst still feeling modern City.

Yeah if the sock colours were inverted (so white top, rest sky blue) that would be a perfect City kit for me.

For me, Navy socks doesn't match with our modern identity and sky blue top, white shorts, navy socks would look awkward.

Agree. Whenever I see us in navy socks it looks like we've forgotten or lost our socks and had to borrow some.

Agreed - I prefer Sky Blue / White as the main colours and only a small amout of Navy. It's still the original and classic city colours, it just looks better with two main colors instead of 3! I also care less about the socks than anything else, blue shirt white shorts is all i really care about, get those right and your 90% there!

Shaleumstash and myself are forming a new group called "The Navy Socks Appreciation Society". We'll shortly be appealing for help to raise enough money to buy a number of banners for the new season. They will display messages such as "Nike Out", "Stick your template kits up your ringpiece", We are NOT Chelsea lite" and "It's a barm, not a fucking muffin".

Any help will be gratefully received.

Don't make me fall out with you. I'm booked in for that tattoo you designed for me in two weeks. I don't know whether to have a City-fied coat of arms as well. I saw one on here ages ago, just black with bits of sky blue in it but can't find it now.

It's his maroon version of the three rivers but instead of MCFC, it's got my daughter's name and date of birth.
