A bit weird with the navy shirt sleeves. Hope it's just a training top.

For me, identity is important and at a time where our identity and traditions are called into question, I feel we need to need to make sure our uniform respects the history of the club.

The shirt should be all sky blue, the shorts should be white and if you want to play about a bit then do it with the socks. I've no issue with the socks changing between sky blue, white and navy each year.

I know we've worn sky blue shorts before but they've never been popular and the vast majority of fans prefer them to be white.

It's extremely disappointed that we're bringing in a new, more traditional badge and yet the new home kit will be one of the most removed from our traditional wear that we've ever had.

The club did a great job respecting the new badge but they're not doing a great job with the home kits. That's 2 out of 4 that just haven't been 'Manchester City' to me.

Someone at the club needs to have more control over the style of the kits. At United they're very specific about what it has to look like.

Shame we don't give a damn.

I have a different view on this... I have wondered this for a few years... Maybe the club "leaks" different kits like this to see fan reactions, obviously if most don't like it then they won't release that kit instead opting for the kit the fans responded the best to?

Got to be a fake anyhow. The badge doesn't line up with the Nike tick and it looks like the shabbiest material going, it folds over at the collar in the first pic.

As time has gone on I actually find myself really disliking the new badge as well. Gold on white is a poor design decision - whenever do you see a gold ship against a white sky anyway? The shield is shit and with the white/gold combo looks like a shit brewery logo. The CFG template lacks uniqueness for a 122 year old club. I voted for the rose but I think it's a bit of a sore thumb in this design. Having the 1894 split is shit. "City" is straight. #bluemoan

Maybe that's the point, we aren't that important to Nike to merit them going off template.They don't pay us much, they don't ask the clubs opinon because they don't care whether we stick with them or not . They may start to care soon, hopefully by then we'll have found better partner.
