next two prem games

If Aguero finally starts bagging the chances that are coming his way then I can't see anything other than a City win. Wouldn't be surprised to see the clean sheet finally go though. If the others chip in with goals as they have been doing so far we could see a 3 or 4-1.

Think Palace will be out hardest game of the season and should be treated as such..
If this is the case, we should forget all hopes of progressing in the champions league, and I just hope that the players themselves have more confidence in their own ability than some on here seem to have
I'm not saying it's going to be easy and Palace are a difficult team when they get up a head of steam but we have the players with lots of ability who will starve them of possession

I dont see anyone in the Prem that I consider a serious threat to us home or away on current form, However we all know that football throws up odd performances and results that cant be accounted for. Therefore on that basis (as I cant account for it) I have to go into every game until it happens with the attitude that we will beat all put in front of us, all season long !

Anyone know when 2nd v 1st last kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday?

I'm assuming it must have been another early season match

As good as Palace are they are incredibly predictable. They'll look to sit back and then counter attack. They have creativity in Cabaye and a lot of pace up front but we lost there last season and should be wise to how they'll look to play.

Fernandinho has been excellent this season at covering defensively, Sagna has been very good as well and Kolarov has added defensive assistance with Sterling working hard on the left flank.

I was wondering if KDB would make his debut in this one, as it would be much better to bring him off the bench in my opinion. We'll control possession and unless we have a bad day in front of goal we should outscore Palace.

Palace roughed us up a bit at their place last year questionable offside goals ensured our defeat. They've bought football players in the summer (Cabaye) and sold muscle head on a stick up front who caused us a bit of bother. If they try and out football us we will beat them however they sit in 2nd place for a reason.
West Ham are a strange bird this year great performances against the Arse and Scousers away from home and apalling at home. I think we'll have too much for them but should be a good game.
Both games will be difficult but we should be winning both these games with the aspirations and form we have this season. All our players will have had international outings and most have displayed similar form to that already displayed for City in their international fixtures. I'm confident we can get 6 points.

That Sir, is the fucking spirit.

For me, the biggest question is whether we can maintain our scintillating form after the international break. It's funny (actually, bloody annoying) how you can be playing brilliant football and then you have a break and one or two players come back injured or just knackered and somehow the momentum is lost and you look like a different side.

If we play like we have in the first 4 games, we will have 18 points after the next 2.

I hope the guys return from Country duties and maintain the focus they had for the previous games.
We threw away points last season against 'lesser quality' teams. We need to bag all the points we can as early as possible. It's a long season with lots of matches(hopefully).
Come on city, keep the pressure on the others to catch us up.

Don't change the team, Navas, while not having his best day last time out, will offer a definite counter attacking threat, bring KDB on with 20 to go, maybe give him a full home debut next home game.
Zaba will only come in for Sagna if he either gets injured, or his form dips, Zab understands this more than anyone.
We will be a test of any team right now, with a reinvigorated Kompany running a tight ship, Yaya up for it, and a now up to speed Aguero after the international break, confidence is high, and rightly so, fear no one, and relish the challenge!!!

These two will tell us all we need to know about our mentality this season in my opinion.

A season of fight or a season of inconsistency because of complacency, I am hoping for the former.

Assuming that Zabaleta, Sagna, Clichy and Fernando are unavailable.

Navas and Sterling will be crucial away at Palace for their pace on the counter attack as will their defensive work as Palace play with 2 very attacking wingers (Zaha, Bolasie) I would replace Navas with De Bruyne for West Ham for the cutting edge he brings which will be necessary to unlock the 2 banks of 4 Bilic will employ against us like he did away at the Emirates and Anfield. Nasri provides ball retention which is important because we'll need to be patient against a stubborn defence and our tactic will probably be to wear them down gradually similar to the way we beat Villa at home when we won the title in 13/14. Also think resting Sterling would be a good idea for this game due to the busy schedule coming up with the Champions League and League Cup. Hoping our momentum will carry us through these 2 games and we will be edging ever closer to breaking Arsenal's consecutive wins record.

Shame about Delph but I see no reason to change things up until we need to, if we continue in the same vain of form we should win both matches. Dare I say after the internationals it looks like Aguero might actually be in better form.

Aguero if he plays tonight will have played 6 games going into the next part of the season which is the same amount of games we played in pre-season so hopefully he will have had his pre-season out of the way and is ready to kick on now.

Big concern for me is our full back positions, especially right back because if Sagna is indeed injured can see Bolasie running riot if we don't setup correctly on Saturday.

Same goes with Juventus.

Zabaleta should be back for West Ham if he was correctly ruled out for a month.
