Neymar

It's a tough one, heart says no way, head can see some logic though . I do feel that the sheikh at some point wants to make a statement signing someone who is acknowledged as one of the top players in world football, and bring them to city.

Neymar has no chance of winning the Champions League or Ballon d'Or at PSG. It begs the question though, how much will Mbappe be worth if he keeps going the way he is?

I'd say now the Ballon d'Or is back to it's original state; French football magazine giving the award out, he has every chance.

if barca can get Veratti and money for Neymar, take it and run. Barca are crying out for a Xavi replacement to stop messi having to continusouly drop deep to create for them and let him focus solely on killing teams off. Multiple times against Juventus in the champions Legaue QF Messi played through balls to either Suarez or Neymar and they bottled it, if Messi was on the end of these instead, different result. Mad thing is,Messi still scored 50+ fucking goals whilst doing this for Barca, they need more creativity from deep.

Q. IF Neymar is available and the fees quoted were correct and out of our FFP restraints.. If Barca say "Can we have Aguero at a Value of say £90m.. " Would you fork out £100m straight, knowing we've had the best of Sergio, and he then reunites with best pal Messi. Neymar join G.Jesus and we have the 3rd best player in the world?

That's a tough one for me.. future proof + refresh or see out contract + make Sergio and Jesus work.

Not tough for me at all. I'd snap their hands off. Aguero has only a couple years left at a top level. Neymar is a better overall player and is significantly younger. But they wouldn't give us anything like £90m anyway.

I am starting to wonder whether there is some truth in the Aguero rumours. I don't think the club would sell to Chelsea, but we know that they have been interested in signing Neymar for some time now. With PSG seemingly willing to meet his price tag the club now have a decision to make.

I think they could meet the release clause by selling Sergio to Real Madrid (who would gladly facilitate weakening Barcelona) and looking for more affordable backup fullbacks. This would obviously leave us light numerically up front, but they may see it as a risk worth taking.

Short, simple answer; no. Neymar is not worth the loss of Aguero PLUS 100m.

he absolutely is. In age, football and marketability. Some people here are obsessed with Aguero and will post stuff like this when he is 40. We'd make those 100 mil. in Neymar's marketability and he is currently better player than Aguero.

Neymar is best player of his generation and absolute icon in Brasil. He would be worth just to bring loads of Brasilian kids into City and hope opne or few of them might be next Neymars that we could possibly get for 20 mil. because it was their childhood dream to play for City.

This obession with players who brought first trophies after so much time is starting to be bit small time. Like scousers or rags istry. It was same with Zabaleta, some people would keep him until he could not walk and yet would talk shit about Txiki for FB situation.

Those players are legends and will alway be legends. But time will come when they would be surplus or some better option appear. I don't think we'll ever see Neymar at City but if chance like that would come, to have a best player of generation, both football and marketing wise and to have finance to make it, I'd find anyone at City absolutely moronic if they wouldn't take it.

City will be here in 50-100 years, Aguero, Silva and comp. won't. And we'll have better players than them in future, we're not average club anymore that won a lottery to have one good generation. There is absolutely no need for City to be hostages of this group of players and give each one of them for free when they contracts run out. They did their bit, they were handsomely awarded for it, will always be loved by City fans, let's move on with mentality there're no good or better players rhan them. There are, they're not 20 anymore.

Be surprised if we just let this happen without showing an interest.

If we do want to win the Champions League we need to be in the mix for the best players in the world.

His advisors as well but very true. I think the player is quite settled at Barcelona actually, even in Leo's shadow. But that being said, I'd take the money & run

Do you think there's a reasonable chance that this transfer will happen mate? Normally I'd dismiss any reports out of hand because as good as he is, I can't see how any club would spend over 220 million Euros on any player even with the astronomical transfer fees we're seeing these days, but as it came from a Brazilian media outlet it could be assumed that they're closer to Neymar than media outlets in other countries so there may well be some truth in this.

"The last one was my best season in Barcelona. I am very adapted to the city, the club and I am happy here. That is reflected on the performance of an athlete," Neymar told Goal on Tuesday.

"It was the season where I felt more comfortable, even though we did not win the titles we would have wanted. We played great games and lived incredible moments.

“Now, we need to work for the 2017-18 season so it will be even more positive individually and as a group."

I do not although as I mentioned before, would love it to - I believe he can get better, just not sure he will at Barcelona. IMHO, mainly because he lacks the singular professionalism that Suarez & Leo possess

I think this is more a case of the Qatari group trying to stick it to Barcelona over the Verratti saga - definitely angry with the club for this and abandoning Qatar as a sponsor.

You think PSG would go and spend 220 million euros because they are trying to stick it to Barcelona? No chance.
