NFL 2023-24

I fucking wouldn't, they killed the Lions earlier in the season.
The Lions' achilles heal are teams with a mobile, dual threat QB's, and Jackson is the best there is.

I'd like to see the Lions beat the Chiefs again!
Prefer to see teams that haven’t been there for a while, or in Detroit’s case ever, plus it’s over a decade since Baltimore went. Understand your preference, of course, albeit Kansas City appear to be reaching a peak again.

I wonder if there has ever been a season where the opening game of the NFL season was the same game as the last one.

One of those little weird things that seems to randomly occur in sport that’s giving me a little extra hope the Lions can do it.

I've not watched a lot of NFL this season but I did watch the lions beat the bucks. It wasn't that inspiring. I suspect that Taylor Swift will beat them.

Agreed. The Lions have to play their best game to win this game, but the 49ers didn't play that well on Saturday and their best WR went off injured.

The Lions run the ball well and that's a 49er weakness and even though the Lions defence isn't the best, they never stop hustling, so if they can rattle Purdy they have a great chance!

Come on you Lions!

I think most neutrals would love to see the Lions in the SuperBowl, since I think they're the only NFC team in the modern game era to have never made it.

Would also be a good story & as a Dolphins fan will be rooting for our ex-interim head coach Dan Campbell to make it to 'the big dance'.

Personally, I think the 49ers are too strong, but who knows if nerves get to them on the big stage & as they say on Any Given Sunday!

At the beginning of the season, no-one here, let alone nationally, thought the Lions would be in this position and this game.

They're good enough offensively but they are weak in a few positions on defence and so people thought they would address those in the off season and really challenge next season and I think that will still be the case.

But they're in the second biggest game they can be in now and the team are well up for it, so everyone's going along for the ride. It still doesn't seem real though!

Baltimore lucky to be down only 10 points. They have been gash. Mr Swift ( and I don’t mean Frank) with a big first half.

Jackson totally stinking the place out..
