NFL 2024-25

Convincing bounce back win for the Commanders.
Jayden Daniels is looking very good at QB and scored an excellent TD. Scary Terry with two more TDs and Ertz looking great at TE. Robinson with a sublime rushing TD too.
Rest week then the Saints. A play off spot beckons with two more wins.

It appears Washington did well drafting Daniels. Looking forward to watching him play. Didn’t see that much of him at LSU..

I had a bet that Robinson would get a touchdown and rush over 58.5 yards and Daniels and McLaurin would score too. Luckily the bet came in during the first quarter, happy days IMG_2293.jpeg

I did go a bit mad at the start of the second quarter and bet Ertz McNicholl and Brown all to score also as I thought they might rest Robinson and McLaurin . Getting giddy being a Washington fan

Lions with a fantastic win against a good green bay side. 13 defensive players injured and still winning, but they really need some of those players back or it will catch up with them.

That call by Campbell on 4th down with 40 seconds to play was bonkers. Not sure there's another head coach who would go for that, but totally paid off. Bills next and that could be a superbowl preview.

Hopefully the Bills take care of the Rams on Sunday and then it sets up next weeks game against the Lions, like you say, maybe a taster for the Superbowl!

For my sins, I decided to stay up & watch this game after returning from our office Xmas party 'slightly' inebriated.

A gusty & brave call by Campbell to go for it on 4th down in the dying stages of the game. However, I do think these types of calls will eventually be the downfall for Campbell.

Its all fine & well doing this during regular season games when you can live to fight another day. As Campbell found out last yr in the playoffs against San Francisco this type of aggressive call can backfire against you when it doesn't work out and there's not much time to fix it.

I hope he's learnt from this & decides to adapt his aggressive calls regarding the situation & scenario, but judging by his character I very much doubt it as he's very much a live & die by the sword chap.
