although there has been truly exciting play-off games, i dont think the level of skill is comparable to the pre-expansion era that got me interested in the first place. Watching the likes of Marino, Joe Montana, Steve Young ,Singleton Payton LT Largent, and many others, somehow they were larger than life, capable of extraordinary things.
The modern game has evolved as have the rules, but i reckon the game is a bit like the EPL and the 70s and 80s like La Ligua.
