Yeah, guess I was talking more "big four" US sports. Not sure many people outside those that watch Fox Soccer or follow football would know who Wynalda is. Funny thing, first time I saw Bryant in a Barca kit, my estimation of him went up just because of it. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would ever see a City kit being worn.

Nah Eric Wynaldas been a City fan for a bit now....wears our kit on FSC sometimes. Nothing like Rodgers stature though, as Wynalda might be a name we all know/recognise, but Rodgers is big time here as you know. Kobe Bryants a big Barca fan, Aaron a City fan, and every other Yank (almost) is a Rag. Wonder how many new fans we'll get from this very picture/interview alone....

p.s Bryants got a few skills apparently. Think he goes to Galaxy matches weekly too. Not really arsed about any of it, but ive just done the facebook business with the Rodgers pic and all my Yank (ok, American) pals are bumming it!!

Yeah I think when Barca were over for their US tour last summer Bryant even did a day training with them. Pretty sure I remember a feature on ESPN about it. I want to say football might have even been his favourite sport to play growing up, just not the money/recognition in the States so he went with Basketball.

This makes him beating the Steelers in the Super Bowl a little easier to take.
It does kind of fit that a Packer would like City as both towns are blue-collar with loyal fans who support their team through thick and thin.
