OK he wasn't born within a stones throw of Maine Road and he wasn't at York City away but I guess a major yank sporting star wearing our shirt instead of a rag, dipper, arse or chelski top shows me must be making waves in the States (of all places) and around the world.

Ruined what? You all getting giddy over the fact that someone famous has been spotted wearing a City shirt, but actually he's probably just wearing it as a fashion item?

I still see it as a good thing.

Now I know many people here don't like the NFL, I personally find it fantastic, but here is a pretty big player in Aaron Rodgers (the leagues best quarterback at the moment; which is a big deal) talking to the press whilst wearing none other than God's own clubs football shirt.

Tom Brady is the best in the game for me!
Aaron Rodgers is no.2!

I wonder why its a City shirt?
Is he a fan? How did he become a fan?

Peyton Manning is the best, when he's fit!

Great publicity for City.

I don't think Manning is ever going to get back to his best. I think the Colts will draft Luck and trade Manning, which would be disappointing as I'm a huge Cleveland Browns fans and I'm desperately hoping that we can trade up for Luck.

Good to see Rodgers in god's own shirt. For this reason alone, I will be quietly pleased when he wins another championship in the new year.
