Was at the game so didn't see it yesterday and too inebriated to understand what was being said when I watched the re-run last night but just watched the SKY commentary and analysis. Niall was pro City throughout. He's probably going to get sacked now as he had digs at Uniteds fans, Chelsea's style of football, Liverpool not having the bottle for the fight and how City build within the community, are a family club and are set for Premier League domination. Good on you Niall, now make sure you carry on speaking your personal views rather than what your employers want you to say. For yesterday I say, good on yer lad.

Like everyone connected with City from his era, sometimes he can be polar about how he rates City and the current regime. I think deep down he knows what our fans are about, and what City aspire to be. If he gets sacked, can we get him a job at the club shop?

A few ex city players come across as bitter because of the way they were sold or treated back in the day. Quinn has seemed like he's been one of them. I think he's softened his attitude to us now after hearing his complimentary words lately regarding City. Keep it up big Niall, we need more like you at Sky.

I suspect that the penny has finally dropped with Sky that the Liverpool love in wasn't universally shared by fans of other clubs. Probably realised that they need to have some balance to counter the opinions of Redknapp, Souness etc and have given Quinn free reign to express some pro City sentiment.

Nice to see the big fella finally get some credit on here because he's been slagged off quite a bit by some who always look deeper into things than is needed. I met the fella after he had left us and we had been relegated at Stoke. He spotted my brothers City shirt and made a bee line straight over to us without being asked, shook both our hands and said how sorry he was about what had happened to City.

He was also very much more pro-City after our victory at Palace and Soreness' rant about how we should have scored ten against a team that had won its previous five games.

I was very impressed with Niall that afternoon.
