I hope he is, but obviously I haven't really seen him play much, not enough. I would say he is better than Gundogan right now. He will become better soon, though. I am sure of it. I am really excited about this transfer. He looks really promising.

Any idea how tough the January window is? We’ve brought in 4, which is a lot isn’t it? Hoped they will all make a big impression over the next FOUR MONTHS

I really think all 4 are not fully Tkixi signings, but Vianna recomendations, hence why they have been done so quicky in the 4 weeks but were in no one minds during the last 3 months.

Pep was happy with his lot and bergers happy to trust him.

I understand this caution but there is another way of looking at it. This season is as good as finished for us unless we somehow pull a miracle off in the champions league. The fa cup is a possibility if the draw is kind and our form and injuries improve. We only have to win five more games to win that. Perhaps the club are getting our targets in early to bed them in before next season?

Yes, hopefully the new signings bed in and we hit the ground running from the off !!

Footballers arent just a loaf of a bread you can buy the moment you fancy it.

If we are a brilliantly run club which you have said yourself then clearly its not that simple to just sign players otherwise why would we have not done it?
 
Hopefully he is positionally disciplined too.
Kovacic is skillful and I think theres a good player in there, but when I see him make one of his suicide dribbles up the middle I know that ball is about to make the return journey straight back again through the middle of our midfield (goal against club brugge excepted).

And they’ll all be bedded in an up and running ready for the club World Cup in the summer.

€50M just for being in it and another €100M if we win it. That will almost pay for this transfer window :)
